Best gyro I have used, I own 2, one for the 450, and one for the 500. very very easy to setup. do yourself a favor and get the usb link to program it, makes life easier. plug and play. Don't know anything about the futaba gy-* gyros, but if you use one of these, I am sure you will say GY-who?

I just bought my second Spartan 760 gyro, both are on my TREX 500. Both are working excellent. I purchased the second one, because the screen of my Futaba 611 needed a repair after a crash. It can not happen with this gyro anymore. It is a very light design compare to Futaba 611. I will sell it after repair, I am sure. I like also the upgrade/update features as well.

I have this gyro on my TRex 600ESP with a JR8900G and on my Outrage G5 with a JR3500G. Rock solid on both! Easy to set up and program, many parameter adjustments available to suit the model and your flying style. On top of that, the Spartan gyro and USB programmer are now less expensive than other high end gyros. Small, light weight and no separate amplifier. You can't go wrong with this gyro!

It holds like a rock no super 3D tho. Very easy to setup just as easy as a 401. Dont have the pc interfase.
